About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: (3 12-hour shifts per week)
- Hours: 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
- Setting: Inpatient
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and critical conditions in an emergency setting.
- Conduct thorough physical examinations, obtain medical histories, and triage incoming patients.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests to support differential diagnoses and treatment decisions.
- Perform acute procedures such as suturing, fracture reduction, splinting, and foreign body removal, and assist with airway management or resuscitation as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff to implement care plans, facilitate discharges, and arrange admissions.
Qualifications:
- Active Missouri Nurse Practitioner license.
- Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification.
