Desktop Engineer

A New York City-based entertainment organization is looking to fill an immediate need with the addition of a new Desktop Engineer. In this role, the Desktop Engineer will be responsible for managing and securing a fleet of client devices.

***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 4 days a week at either their New York City office or their Bethpage, Long Island.***

Responsibilities:

• Manage enterprise device management platforms, including Microsoft InTune, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), JAMF Pro, and Apple Business Manager
• Deploy software updates, security updates, and operating system upgrade
• Build software update deployment packages for Windows and macOS
• Assist with the development and enhancement of Windows AutoPilot
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience managing and supporting Microsoft Active Directory
• 3 years of experience managing and supporting SCCM
• 3 years of experience managing and supporting JAMF Pro
• 3 years of experience packaging software and security updates
• 1 years of experience with Microsoft EndPoint Management (InTune)
• 1 years of experience with Microsoft PowerShell scripting
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, and/or a related field
• Strong understanding of macOS and Windows, including their architecture, security features, and troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of deploying Windows 10/11 operating systems
• Experience with zero-touch provisioning workflows
• Strong knowledge of networking and Server Administration
• Experience with Microsoft SQL databases
• Experience with Microsoft Graph
• Strong knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) practices
• Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
