A healthcare network in New York City is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their Cardiothoracic Surgery team in Brooklyn.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Rotating days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Schedule: 3 x 13 hour shifts
- Hours: 7am to 8pm or 7pm to 8am
Responsibilities:
- Managing unit patients
- Placing orders and admissions
- Performing bedside procedures
- Conducting consults and discharges
- Running full codes and opening the chest
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
- NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Strong skills in performing complex procedures
- Proficiency in EPIC EMR
- Ability to manage high acuity settings
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong teamwork abilities
- Detail-oriented and organized
Desired Qualifications:
- Surgical and/or Critical Care certifications
- Advanced knowledge of Bedside procedures
- Experience in Critical Care environments
- Advanced clinical training
Salary : $100 - $120
