A health services network in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a promising opportunity with their Urgent Care team in Queens.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: 3 12-hour shifts per week
- Specialty: Urgent Care
- Patient Population: All ages (mainly adults)
- Call Schedule: Weekend rotations
Responsibilities:
- Perform assessment and interventions for each patient
- Participate in interdisciplinary committees that influence or determine policies
- Follow facility procedures/protocols for admitting residents, transferring to hospitals/clinics/outpatient visits
- Complete appropriate documentation based on the established guidelines
- Assist in defining, maintaining, and interpreting standards of practice
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in an Urgent Care role/setting
- Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree
- NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license
- Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
- Patient oriented
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
Salary : $165,000 - $180,000
