We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Technician for a role based in Brookshire, TX. This onsite position involves collaborating with the workplace health and safety team to ensure the well-being of employees.
About the Opportunity:
- Hybrid or Remote: On site
- Shift: Graveyard Shift
- Schedule: Wednesday to Saturday/Sunday
- Hours: 6:30pm-5am CST
- Setting: Workplace Health & Safety Team
Responsibilities:
The Emergency Medicine Technician will be responsible for:
- Providing first aid and making referrals to outside medical providers
- Minimizing injury risks through education and proactive engagement
- Maintaining records of care provided to employees
- Coordinating workers' compensation and return-to-work programs
- Providing daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in EMS
- High School or equivalent diploma
- Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic Certification
- Experience in providing first aid
- Experience in maintaining records
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts
- Strong team player
Desired Skills:
- Experience as an Amazon employee
- High School or equivalent diploma
- Strong communication skills with associates
- Willingness to work weekend and graveyard shifts
