Tandigm’s Data Vault Developer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining enterprise data warehouse solutions using the Data Vault 2.0/2.1 methodology. This role works closely with data architects, engineers, and business analysts to ensure that enterprise data is modeled, integrated, and managed in a way that supports scalability, auditability, and alignment with business needs.
You will contribute hands-on expertise in SQL, Data Vault modeling, and automation tools such as VaultSpeed, WhereScape, dbtvault/AutomateDV, or DataVault Builder, with experience on modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure Synapse, or Azure Data Fabric. - Design and implement Data Vault 2.0/2.1 models (Hubs, Links, Satellites) to support enterprise data integration.
- Develop and maintain ELT/ETL pipelines to populate the Data Vault from multiple source systems.
- Develop and maintain business-facing data products that source from the Data Vault and transform data into consumption-friendly structures like dimensional data models.
- Collaborate with architects and analysts to capture business keys, context, and lineage.
- Translate business requirements into scalable data models and pipelines.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency through testing and validation.
- Apply governance and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, financial regulations) where applicable.
- Optimize SQL queries and processes for performance and maintainability.
- Document data models, flows, and technical processes.
- Work collaboratively across IT and business teams in a matrixed environment.
