About This Role:
At Tandem, "Companion Care" refers to longer-term, assignment-based roles. That means you'll work regular, recurring shifts (minimum 6 hours) with one or two clients each week. While some people hear "companion care" and think it's just social — this is full-scope non-medical caregiving. You'll help with personal care, mobility, safety, meal prep, light housekeeping, and more.
We'll match you with clients based on your availability, preferences, and experience — and we provide real support from a team that knows your name.

This role is a great fit if you:
- Want a consistent schedule and long-term client relationships
- Prefer 6 hour shifts with just 1–2 clients
- Are comfortable with hands-on personal care and dementia support
- Have weekday availability (ideally 5 days/week) or full weekend availability
- Are patient, reliable, and proactive
- Have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Only want on-call, overnight, or occasional shifts
- Are not comfortable helping with bathing, hygiene, or incontinence care
- Can't commit to a steady schedule each week
- Don't drive or lack access to reliable transportation
- Active Home Care Aide (HCA) registration in California → Must have completed a Live Scan background check → Check your HCA status here
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Smartphone (iPhone or Android) to access scheduling and communication apps
- Strong communication skills and reliability — our clients count on you
Salary : $18 - $20
