Tanasbourne Pediatrics has been caring for children and families in the Beaverton community for 26 years. We are a well-established practice with two pediatricians and a dedicated team focused on providing excellent, compassionate care.
We are looking for a Pediatric Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our practice and help lead and develop our team.
About the Position
The Office Manager will be responsible for keeping the practice running smoothly while creating a positive, professional, and supportive work environment. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who is an excellent communicator, organized, proactive, and comfortable working closely with physicians and staff.
Responsibilities
● Manage daily office operations, scheduling, staffing, and workflow.
● Supervise, support, and develop administrative and clinical staff.
● Lead onboarding, training, coaching, and performance feedback.
● Promote excellent communication and teamwork.
● Help resolve staff and patient concerns professionally and efficiently.
● Oversee front-office processes, including registration, referrals, records, insurance, and billing coordination.
● Monitor supplies, vendors, equipment, and office needs.
● Help maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and practice policies.
● Monitor practice expenses and assist with budgeting and financial oversight.
● Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, patient service, and office systems.
● Work closely with our two pediatricians on practice needs, staffing, and ongoing improvements.
● Be willing to jump in and help wherever needed.
Qualifications
● Previous medical office management or healthcare administration experience.
● Pediatric or primary care experience preferred.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
● Experience supervising, mentoring, or developing staff.
● Professional, approachable, and dependable.
● Comfortable handling multiple priorities in a busy medical office.
● Familiarity with EMRs, scheduling, insurance, billing, and medical office procedures.
