Position Overview
As a Behavioral Health Intake Specialist, you will be working with children and their families through the referral, screening and admissions process while delivering services that are:
- Client-centered
- Strengths-based

In this role, you will serve as a key member of our Residential Services team, responsible for managing the referral, screening, and admissions process for youth entering services. This role ensures appropriate clinical fit, timely communication with referral sources, and coordination of admission logistics to support safe, efficient, and mission-driver service delivery. This position plays a critical role in maintaining program census while upholding standards of care and trauma-informed practices.

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related human services field
- Minimum of one-year experience in behavioral health, inpatient/residential services, intake/admissions or care coordination
- Minimum of one-year experience working with youth and families
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work
Required Special Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications, credentials or program-specific qualifications within a timeframe established by the organization or regulatory requirements
- Must possess a valid Drivers License and meet the driving requirements of the Agency
