☀TAN YER HIDE IS HIRING A TANNING TECHNICIAN ☀
Tan Yer Hide Tanning Salon is looking for an outgoing, energetic, customer-service-driven Tanning Technician to join our team!
We’re looking for someone who loves working with people, enjoys the beauty and wellness industry, is comfortable recommending products and services, and wants to learn and grow with our salon.
No tanning industry experience? That’s okay! We are looking for the right personality, work ethic, and willingness to learn. Training will be provided, but you must be committed to completing required education and certification courses.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Our ideal Tanning Technician is:
- Friendly, outgoing, and confident talking with customers
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Comfortable with sales and recommending products and services
- Able to multitask in a busy salon environment
- Comfortable using computers, point-of-sale systems, and technology
- Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining a clean, welcoming salon
- Willing to learn about tanning, skincare, products, and salon services
- A team player who can also work independently
TRAINING & CERTIFICATION
Team members must be willing to complete salon-required training and certification courses, including:
- UV Tanning Certification
- Spray Tanning Certification
- Sales Training
- Product and skincare education
- Equipment and salon procedure training
- Additional industry or safety training as required
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet and assist customers
- Educate customers about salon services and products
- Help customers select appropriate tanning and salon options
- Sell memberships, packages, upgrades, and retail products
- Operate tanning and salon equipment according to training and procedures
- Assist with spray tanning services after completing required training
- Schedule appointments and assist customers by phone
- Process payments and operate the point-of-sale system
- Clean and sanitize tanning equipment and salon areas
- Restock products and supplies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming salon
- Participate in ongoing training and team education
- Complete additional salon duties as assigned
