Please note: This position is grant funded; future employment may be contingent upon future funding. What You Need to Know Salary: $60,000/annually Cover Letter & Resume: A cover letter and resume are strongly recommended. Other Requirements and Factors: This position may require up to 10% (specify percentage) or more travel. This position may require occasional work beyond normal office hours and/or work on weekends. This position is funded from grant and/or contract funding, which is renewed through provisions of the grantor of the contract. Therefore, this position is contingent upon continuation of funding from these grants and/or contracts, as well as satisfactory job performance. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and transport materials from a car to an event site, such as needed for setting up a tabling event or presentation. Essential Duties/Tasks Content Development and Training Designs, develops, and revises curriculum, publications, and program content aligned with LevelUp Texas goals and target audiences. Creates engaging, age-appropriate materials that support college and career exploration for youth and families. Leads training for staff on new content, including facilitating sessions and developing internalization resources. Collaborate with team members to ensure content is practical, high-quality, and aligned with program implementation needs. Project Management and Innovation Manages key strategic projects, including a website development initiative, by coordinating timelines, deliverables, and external partners or contractors. Oversee the redesign and ongoing development of the LevelUp Texas Club, including content, structure, and user experience. Tracks project progress, identifies risks, and ensures alignment with team priorities and deadlines. Program Support & Collaboration Supports team-wide initiatives and events, including planning, materials development, and execution. Collaborates across the team to ensure alignment between curriculum, programming, and outreach efforts. Contributes to a high-trust, high-feedback team culture through clear communication and collaboration. General Program Administration Assists with program documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts. May supervise student workers or project-based staff as needed. Supports Director with tasks as needed. Qualifications Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in K-12 education, content development, or other relevant youth experience. 5 years experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or educational programming with 2 of those years leading or training others. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in K–12 education (e.g., classroom teaching, instructional coaching, or curriculum leadership). Experience developing curriculum or resources beyond a single classroom (e.g., grade-level, district, or organizational level). Experience managing external vendors or contractors. Familiarity with youth development, college and career readiness, or informal education programs. Ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate ambiguity in a dynamic environment. Ability to collaborate across teams and build strong working relationships. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Understanding of college and career readiness and pathways, with the ability to develop engaging, developmentally appropriate content that builds awareness for K–12 students and families. Excellent facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to train and collaborate with others effectively. Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail and follow-through. Proficiency in content design tools (e.g., Canva or similar platforms) to create visually engaging, user-friendly materials. Ability to design and deliver virtual training using platforms such as Microsoft Teams, including managing participant engagement and basic troubleshooting. Strong digital communication skills, including organizing and presenting information clearly across virtual platforms. Attention to detail in reviewing content for accuracy, clarity, and visual quality across formats (print, digital, web).
