MEAT CUTTER/BUTCHER

Job Summary:
The Meat Cutter is responsible for preparing, cutting, and packaging meat products while maintaining high standards of quality, food safety, and customer service in a retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cut, trim, debone, and grind meat and poultry to company standards.

• Prepare and package products for display; fulfill custom customer requests.

• Inspect products for quality and freshness.

• Maintain proper inventory rotation and storage (FIFO).

• Operate and maintain equipment safely.

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.

• Provide friendly and efficient customer service.

• Keep work areas and equipment clean and sanitized.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• At least 1 year of related experience preferred.

• Ability to safely use cutting tools and equipment.

• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

• Ability to work in cold environments and lift up to 75 lbs occasionally.
