What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Construction Litigation Attorney position at Tampalaw?
Our growing firm is looking for an Associate Attorney to assist with our high volume of litigation, and pre-suit cases. Your tasks include drafting legal documents, assisting with the discovery process, and performing legal research for each case. The ideal applicant has at minimum 3 years of litigating experience.
Duties and Responsibilities including but are not limited to the following:
- Assist with drafting legal documents, including motions and pleadings
- Assist with the discovery process by administering depositions, issuing interrogatories, requests for production and the review and analysis of documents
- Negotiate settlements
- Perform legal research
- Make court appearances and attend mediations, site inspections, etc., as required
Requirements/Qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- License to practice law in Florida
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
