MS Math Teacher
Job Summary:
Tampa Torah Academy, a vibrant Jewish day school in Tampa, Florida, is seeking a dedicated and passionate MS Math teacher to join our dynamic faculty. As a key member of our educational team, you will be responsible for creating an engaging and supportive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.
Responsibilities:
Teach a MS Math course; Either 6th grade or 8th grade Algebra 1
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with our Jewish values and educational objectives
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance individual growth
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and grades
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
Teaching certification in MS Math or related subject preferred
Experience working with students in grades 6-8
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passionate about teaching and committed to education
