Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server Assistant/Busser to join our dynamic restaurant team. Duties
- Assist servers by bussing tables promptly and efficiently to ensure a clean dining area.
- Clear and reset tables, including removing used dishes, glassware, and silverware.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and restocking supplies.
- Support food service operations by delivering food and beverages to guests as directed.
- Ensure proper food handling and safety standards are followed at all times.
- Assist with setting up catering events or special functions when required.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- Provide excellent customer service by attending to guest needs in a courteous manner.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, hotel, or hospitality industries is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and bussing techniques.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling protocols.
- Experience with serving or supporting serving staff is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
