Storm Duty Requirements
Tampa Electric and its sister companies serve a role in providing critical services to our community during an emergency. Team members are required to participate in the response/recovery activities related to emergencies/disasters to maintain service to our Tampa Electric customers. Team members are required to work in their normal job duties or other assigned activities. Proper compensation will be made in accordance with the company's rules and procedures.
Responding to storms will be considered a condition of employment.

- Advises the officers and management of TECO Holdings, Inc., and its subsidiaries, on the legal issues involved in matters and on the structuring and handling of commercial transactions and other related corporate business activities. Anticipates and guards against legal risks facing the company.
- Advises all business units regarding a wide variety of technology agreements, including software licensing, technology outsourcing, hardware purchases, maintenance and support arrangements, technology outsourcing, SaaS and other cloud transactions. Works collaboratively with the Technology department with respect to technology-related compliance issues.
- Review, interpret, draft and negotiate contracts and project documents for transactions.
- Manages outside counsel in legal matters in which they are engaged.
- Conducts or participates in educational and training seminars and workshops for employees of TECO Holdings, Inc. and other operating companies of TECO Holdings, Inc.
- Conducts and coordinates research into a variety of legal issues.
- As needed, may develop and recommend company and/or operating policy and procedural improvements and assists in various other assignments as requested by General Counsel or Associate General Counsel.
