Replay Operator

A Replay Operator for the Tampa Bay Rays is a game day position that works as a part of Raysvision to execute replays, using the DreamCatcher replay system, for the in-house shows during all Tampa Bay Rays home games. A Replay Operator plays a key role in enhancing the game day experience for fans. The incumbent must be flexible and adaptive in a fast-paced environment wherein critical thinking and the ability to effectively follow direction are essential.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Attend and contribute to pre-production meetings each game
• Set-up replay station and other systems associated with replay
• Attend and contribute to pre-production meetings each game

• Operate multi-angle replay system for use on videoboard
• Create replay clips and play them back in real-time and/or slow motion.
• Create game highlight packages on replay system for use on videoboard
• Clip and log game highlights and dubs for team use
• Follow the direction of game day Director and Producer
• Provide general support to the Game Presentation Department
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Prior experience with live sports productions
• Experience operating the DreamCatcher replay system
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to work the entire event including pre- and post-game activities
• Knowledge of MLB replay rules and strong understanding of baseball
• Works well in fast-paced/live event, high pressure situations
• Act as a role model within and outside the Rays Organization
• Adhere to Rays Organization Policies and Procedures
• Must have reliable transportation and live in the Tampa Bay area
