What are the responsibilities and job description for the Replay Operator position at Tampa Bay Rays?
A Replay Operator for the Tampa Bay Rays is a game day position that works as a part of Raysvision to execute replays, using the DreamCatcher replay system, for the in-house shows during all Tampa Bay Rays home games. A Replay Operator plays a key role in enhancing the game day experience for fans. The incumbent must be flexible and adaptive in a fast-paced environment wherein critical thinking and the ability to effectively follow direction are essential.

- Attend and contribute to pre-production meetings each game
- Set-up replay station and other systems associated with replay
- Attend and contribute to pre-production meetings each game
- Set-up replay station and other systems associated with replay
- Operate multi-angle replay system for use on videoboard
- Create replay clips and play them back in real-time and/or slow motion.
- Create game highlight packages on replay system for use on videoboard
- Clip and log game highlights and dubs for team use
- Follow the direction of game day Director and Producer
- Provide general support to the Game Presentation Department
- Other duties as assigned
- Prior experience with live sports productions
- Experience operating the DreamCatcher replay system
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work the entire event including pre- and post-game activities
- Knowledge of MLB replay rules and strong understanding of baseball
- Works well in fast-paced/live event, high pressure situations
- Act as a role model within and outside the Rays Organization
- Adhere to Rays Organization Policies and Procedures
- Must have reliable transportation and live in the Tampa Bay area
- Applicants must be 18 years or older
