Rays Security Guards are uniformed, forward-facing security representatives of a dynamic and diverse organization. Rays Guards perform the daily security program elements at Tropicana Field and Al Lang Stadium. Rays Guards enhance the guest and employee experience by ensuring a safe and secure environment, patrolling stadium spaces and grounds, controlling access, and reporting issues of concern.

Duties
- Control access at entry points
- Patrol stadium grounds, buildings and other assigned areas
- Respond to incidents and emergencies following established protocols
- Monitor CCTV and other security technology
- Ensure security program requirements are achieved at your assigned fixed or mobile security post during your shift
- Conduct routine safety and inspections as assigned to identify hazards
- Coordinate with public safety officials when appropriate
- Complete reports, log activities, and other assigned administrative duties
- Assist with operational needs of the stadium and other departments
- Provide courteous and friendly service to all employees and guests
- Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong observation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to remain composed while under pressure and de-escalate
- Willingness to enhance a professional work environment with safety and security
- Demonstrated ability to be adaptive and flexible in a constantly changing and dynamic work environment
- Ability to work in a team environment
- This position often requires standing and walking
- This position is generally located both indoors and outdoors
- Stadium events are often noisy and crowded
- This position is year-round, shift work including evening, overnight and weekend shifts
