Operations Manager
Reports To: Loan Origination, VP
Classification: Exempt
Location: 100% in-office (No remote/No Hybrid)
Position Summary
- The Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership, performance, and workflow management of Loan Processing, Data Entry, and Closing functions.
- This role ensures loans move efficiently from application through funding while maintaining service standards, production goals, quality expectations, and regulatory compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage supervisors, team leads, and staff across Processing, Data Entry, and Closing.
- Ensure production goals are met and monitor team performance.
- Coach, develop, and hold staff accountable to quality and productivity expectations.
- Oversee loan pipeline flow from submission through funding.
- Identify bottlenecks and allocate resources to meet turn times.
- Monitor file quality, documentation accuracy, and funding readiness.
- Implement process improvements and reporting tools.
- Partner with Sales, Compliance, IT, Finance, and Senior Leadership.

Skills and Qualifications
- 5 years of financial operations experience in a mortgage or consumer finance company
- 3 years of leadership experience managing loan originations, or related teams.
- Strong knowledge of loan operations workflows.
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and loan operating systems.
