TAMKO is seeking a Mobile Platform Architect to own the platform architecture and day-to-day operations of a first-generation, consumer-grade mobile app (React Native) and companion web experience. This role will lead the technical roadmap, build and release operations. Maintain identity setup and access and protect customer data and payments. Establish monitoring and incident response to detect and resolve issues quickly. Guide vendor technical delivery and maintain internal knowledge management.

- Platform & Security – Lead the technical roadmap; manage identity; enforce least-privilege; safeguard customer and payment data; drive Salesforce to Microsoft Entra ID migration.
- Build & Release – Own Azure DevOps pipelines; branch policies and approvals; manage app signing and store submissions; run a release calendar and over-the-air updates.
- Reliability & Incidents – Set stability/performance targets; implement real-time monitoring and alerts; run on-call response and post-incident follow-ups.
- Architecture & Integrations – Govern the React Native client, web runtime, and backend services; oversee integrations; define data contracts and non-functional needs.
- Vendor Management – Establish quality gates, security scanning, and performance budgets; review designs/PRs; ensure documentation and knowledge transfer.
Qualifications:
Required
- 7 years in mobile/web platform engineering or architecture, including hands-on ownership of build/release operations.
- 3 years supporting React Native or native mobile apps at commercial scale.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and Entra ID (identity), including secure handling of app registrations, keys/secrets, and access.
- Proven record establishing monitoring/alerting and running incident response for customer-facing apps.
- Practical knowledge of Apple App Store and Google Play submission processes and policies.
- Experience leading external vendors and enforcing quality gates and documentation.
- Proficiency with Git and Azure DevOps for repositories, pipelines, and environment approvals.
- Working knowledge of payments and PCI considerations.
Preferred
- Familiarity with Salesforce integrations and API patterns.
- Exposure to A/B testing, analytics instrumentation, and performance optimization.
- Understanding of content delivery networks, push notifications, and web performance tuning.
- Experience migrating customer identity to Microsoft Entra ID (B2C).
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience.
