Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Production Associate to support our blending, packaging, equipment operation, and sanitation activities. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced startup environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable following detailed procedures, performing physical work, and helping wherever needed to keep production running safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, move, weigh, and stage raw ingredients and packaging materials.
- Blend supplement ingredients according to approved formulas and written instructions.
- Operate blending, filling, sealing, labeling, and other production equipment.
- Package and label finished products accurately.
- Clean and sanitize machinery, tools, containers, and production areas.
- Complete production, cleaning, and inventory records clearly and accurately.
- Follow safety procedures, sanitation requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and company policies.
- Inspect materials and finished products for quality issues.
- Report equipment problems, product discrepancies, spills, and safety concerns promptly.
- Assist with changeovers, material handling, inventory counts, and general production needs.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules and quality standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Manufacturing, food production, supplement, pharmaceutical, or packaging experience is helpful but not required.
- Ability to read and follow written formulas, work instructions, labels, and safety procedures.
- Basic math skills and strong attention to detail.
- Dependable attendance and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small, growing team.
- Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment, which may include gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hair restraints, masks, and protective clothing.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, reach, squat, push, pull, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to work around manufacturing equipment and powdered ingredients.
- Ability to perform cleaning and sanitation duties using approved cleaning products.
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
