Sterile Processing Tech | Peri Op | Full Time

• Responsibilities/Duties:
   Clean, decontaminate, inspect, assemble, package, sterilize, store, and distribute medical and
  surgical supplies and equipment according to established protocols and manufacturer
  instructions for use (IFUs).
   Safely operate and maintain sterile processing equipment in accordance with manufacturer
  guidelines.
   Monitor, interpret, and document physical, chemical, and biological indicators for all
  sterilization processes.
   Prepare and distribute surgical case carts based on physician preference cards and perioperative
  needs.
   Receive, inventory, stock, and rotate supplies used to support sterile processing services.
   Follow all safety procedures when handling cleaning agents, supplies, and equipment.
   Maintain cleanliness and organization of sterile processing work areas.
   Perform other duties as assigned.
  Education/Experience:
   High school diploma or equivalent required.
   One year of sterile processing experience preferred, but not required.
   On-the-job training provided for applicants without prior experience, consisting of online
  coursework and hands-on training with a preceptor.
  Certifications required within one year of hire:
   Central Supply Processing Department Technician (CSPDT) or Certified Registered Central
  Service Technician (CRCST)
   Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS)
   Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER)
   All required certifications must be maintained annually
