About the Role
As the Director of Nursing, you’ll provide strategic oversight of all nursing operations across our hospital, champion high-quality care, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. You’ll work alongside a passionate leadership team, help drive innovation in patient-centered care, and support a strong interdisciplinary model.

Responsibilities
- Lead nursing practice and clinical operations with a focus on quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Guide the nursing leadership team to ensure consistent, evidence-based care standards.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership, medical staff, and community partners to promote excellence in care delivery.
- Oversee workforce development, recruitment, retention, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Manage fiscal operations including departmental budgets and resource planning.
- Serve as a visible leader, mentor, and advocate for the nursing profession.
Requirements
- RN licensure in the State of Wisconsin (or eligibility to obtain).
- Master’s degree required (MSN, MHA, or related field).
- Minimum of 5 years progressive nursing leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of CMS, state, and federal regulations.
- Proven ability to lead teams, drive change, and foster a positive culture.
- Passion for rural healthcare and community engagement.
