Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and energetic Carpenter/Craftsman to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry and woodworking projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship across residential and commercial sites. Your expertise will help bring construction plans to life, from framing and drywall installation to finishing touches like trim, cabinetry, and fixture installation. You will play a vital role in transforming spaces through precise construction techniques, safety awareness, and innovative problem-solving.

Duties

• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately execute projects
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install various wood and metal components using hand tools and power tools for woodworking and metal stud framing
• Perform residential carpentry tasks such as door hanging, cabinet installation, flooring installation, tile laying, siding, stucco application, and roofing
• Conduct concrete forming, rebar installation, drywall hanging and finishing, plastering, caulking, and water damage restoration work
• Utilize woodworking machines safely for fabrication of custom fixtures or structural elements
• Execute restoration projects including mold remediation, masonry repairs, heavy lifting tasks, and general remodeling efforts
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards including power tool safety protocols while maintaining a clean and organized work environment

Experience

• Proven construction experience with a focus on carpentry or woodworking in residential or commercial settings
• Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, construction plans, and interpreting technical drawings accurately
• Hands-on experience with hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels as well as power tools including drills, saws, sanders for woodworking and framing applications
• Knowledge of wood construction materials like plywood, lumber, siding materials; familiarity with metal studs and other building components
• Experience working on diverse projects such as remodeling, restoration industry tasks (e.g., water damage repair), flooring installation or tile laying is highly desirable
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex tasks like fixture installation or fabricating custom pieces
• Familiarity with CNC machinery or other manufacturing tools is a plus but not required

Pay: $18.00 - $46.00 per hour
