We are looking for a talented, professional, and hospitality-driven Bartender to join our team and help create an elevated beverage experience that complements our fine Indian cuisine.
The Opportunity
The Bartender will be responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service, crafting high-quality cocktails, maintaining a sophisticated bar environment, and ensuring every guest enjoys a welcoming and memorable experience.
This is an opportunity for a creative and detail-oriented bartender to contribute to the development of an exciting beverage program, including cocktails inspired by Indian ingredients, flavors, and traditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, wine, beer, spirits, and other beverages according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Cocktail Craftsmanship: Create refined, balanced, and visually appealing cocktails that complement the restaurant's culinary identity.
- Indian-Inspired Beverages: Support the development and execution of signature cocktails featuring Indian spices, herbs, fruits, and other distinctive ingredients.
- Guest Experience: Provide attentive, knowledgeable, and personalized beverage service while maintaining the highest hospitality standards.
- Bar Operations: Maintain an organized, clean, and fully stocked bar throughout service.
- Product Knowledge: Develop strong knowledge of the beverage menu, ingredients, flavor profiles, and appropriate food and beverage pairings.
- Consistency & Presentation: Ensure accurate measurements, proper techniques, attractive presentation, and consistent beverage quality.
- Inventory Management: Assist with stock management, product rotation, inventory counts, and minimizing waste.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Restaurant Manager, service team, and culinary team to deliver seamless guest experiences.
- Responsible Service: Follow all applicable alcohol service laws, age verification requirements, and responsible beverage service policies.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Bartender in fine dining, luxury hospitality, cocktail bars, or upscale restaurants.
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wines, and beverage preparation techniques.
- Experience with craft cocktails, mixology, or specialty beverage programs is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, guest service, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, organization, and consistency.
- A passion for creative beverages and interest in Indian-inspired ingredients and flavors.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, professional hospitality environment.
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and applicable regulations.
- Experience with restaurant openings or luxury hospitality is a plus.
