Responsibilities Include
- Owning the global taxonomy that organizes the marketplace, including categories, attributes, and item types
- Defining and evolving catalog models and data structures that store and surface listing and inventory data
- Building and improving systems and tools for listing creation, enrichment, and evaluation (for both sellers and internal stakeholders)
- Developing platform capabilities that enable downstream teams—such as Search, Ads, Recommendations, Buyer Experience, Trust & Safety, and Analytics—to effectively interpret and rank inventory
- 7 years of experience in Product Management, including experience operating at a Staff or Principal level (or equivalent scope) across multiple teams or a broad platform domain
- Strong background in structured data, taxonomy, information architecture, catalog systems, or search/marketplace platforms
- Proven success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives spanning multiple teams and systems, ideally in high-scale consumer or marketplace environments
- Demonstrated track record of delivering foundational platform changes (e.g., schema redesigns, large-scale migrations, cross-surface initiatives) with effective risk management and stakeholder communication
