Position Summary
The Carnitas Shop Assistant supports daily kitchen and customer-service operations by preparing ingredients, assisting with food production, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customers receive high-quality products and friendly service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of carnitas, including cutting, seasoning, and organizing ingredients.
- Support the cooking process by monitoring temperatures, handling equipment safely and following instructions.
- Serve customers, take orders, and package carnitas and other menu items.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, including kitchen surfaces, utensils, and customer-facing areas.
- Restock ingredients, tortillas, containers, and other supplies as needed.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Help with opening and closing tasks, including cleaning, organizing, and equipment checks.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service during busy periods.
