Required Skills:
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Python
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, Terraform, and Packer
- Virtualization expertise with platforms like ESXi or OpenStack
- AWS operational experience including EC2, S3, Lambda, and ELB
- Windows administration skills along with basic Linux navigation
- Fundamental networking concepts and troubleshooting abilities
- Basic understanding of security protocols like HTTPS and TLS
- Familiarity with distributed systems architecture
- Experience with remote access protocols such as RDP or Citrix (a plus)
Nice to Have Skills:
- Knowledge of telemetry, logging, and monitoring improvements
- Performance tuning and system optimization experience
- Disaster recovery planning and testing in cloud and on-prem environments
- Adoption of best practices in cloud and infrastructure management
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Proven experience in a Site Reliability Engineering or related role
- Background working with virtualization and cloud infrastructure
- Demonstrated success in automation and scripting projects
Other Requirements:
- Must be willing to work in a hybrid onsite setup, three days per week, at the New York location
- Prior experience with infrastructure deployment and maintenance in cloud environments is essential
