What You'll Do
- Perform preventative maintenance including oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and lubrication.
- Assist with truck and trailer repairs, including brakes, cooling systems, and basic electrical work.
- Conduct safety inspections to help ensure our fleet remains DOT compliant and road-ready.
- Learn diagnostic and repair techniques using industry-standard tools and equipment.
- Track maintenance activities, complete documentation, and assist with maintenance scheduling and compliance.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and an interest in diesel or heavy equipment maintenance.
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn.
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Knowledge of truck and trailer maintenance is a plus, but not required.
