What are the responsibilities and job description for the Salesforce Administrator position at Talon HeadHunters Formerly HRX HEADHUNTERS?
This is a solo ownership role — you won't be handing off build work to a developer or IT team. You'll gather requirements directly from business stakeholders, build the solution yourself, and present results directly to ownership.
Location: Sunrise, FL (on-site first 90 days; hybrid available after 3 months)
Compensation: ~$120,000 base strong benefits, with an open performance-based bonus structure
Reports to: Head of Operations (former CFO), in a non-micromanaging environment that values ownership and proactive communication
What you'll do:
🔹 Own Salesforce administration end-to-end: flows, automations, custom report types, page layouts, and data model changes
🔹 Manage users, security, and access: profiles, permission sets, role hierarchy, sharing rules, field-level security
🔹 Build and maintain reports and dashboards supporting day-to-day operations and recurring reporting to ownership
🔹 Partner with leadership on data infrastructure initiatives (BI tooling, integrations, ETL/data warehouse projects)
🔹 Serve as the internal point of contact for business systems, directing general IT/hardware requests to the company's MSP partner
What you bring:
✅ 5 years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience, ideally as sole or senior admin at a small-to-mid-size company
✅ Salesforce Certified Administrator required; Advanced Administrator or Platform App Builder strongly preferred
✅ Deep comfort with Flow Builder and modern automation practices
✅ Strong understanding of Salesforce security and data model architecture
✅ Comfortable working independently, prioritizing competing requests, and communicating trade-offs clearly to non-technical stakeholders
✅ Exposure to BI tools (Power BI or similar) and basic data/ETL concepts is a plus This is a high-impact, high-autonomy opportunity to be the sole owner of a core operational platform at a company actively scaling under private equity ownership.
