We are seeking a part-time Inside Sales Representative with Freight Forwarding experience.
This position offers a flexible part-time schedule, commission, and benefits.
The ideal candidate will have some knowledge of
air/ocean transport, and managing and optimizing cargo sales and processes.
Job Type: 32-hours (flexible schedule)
Pay $28hr DOE Location: Torrance, CA
Schedule: In-office; 4-5 hours daily with a flexible schedule
Responsibilities:
Drive business opportunities and close sales prospects
Prospecting, Generate new business leads and cold-call
Handle client inquiries and maintain accurate cargo bookings
Provide quotes as requested by client ensuring the highest level of customer service
Qualifications:
Strong Customer Service and negotiation skills
Work well under pressure and meet all performance goals
2 years of proven B2B Sales experience
1-2 years of cold calling and lead-generating experience in Freight Forwarding or similar industry
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Strong organizational and follow-up skills
