Entry Writer – Customs BrokerageLocation: Torrance, CAPay: $28–$30 per hourEmployment Type: Full-TimeAbout the Role: We are seeking an experienced Entry Writer to join our growing Customs Brokerage team in Torrance, CA. This position is responsible for preparing, processing, and transmitting accurate import entries in full compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Partner Government Agency (PGA) regulations.The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with FTZ filings, bonded warehouse operations, and strong knowledge of HTS classification and ACE/ABI systems.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and transmit import entries (CBP Form 7501) via ACE/ABIFile Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) admissions (CBP Form 214)Process bonded warehouse entries, withdrawals, and movementsClassify goods using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS)Calculate duties, taxes, and applicable ADD/CVDReview commercial invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents for complianceRespond to CBP holds, exams, CF28/CF29 requests, and post-entry amendmentsCoordinate with clients, carriers, freight forwarders, and government agenciesEnsure strict compliance with CBP regulations and filing deadlinesRequired Qualifications:2 years of Entry Writer and/or Customs Brokerage experienceProven experience with FTZ (CBP Form 214) and bonded warehouse entriesStrong knowledge of HTS classification and U.S. Customs regulationsProficiency in ACE/ABI systemsHigh attention to detail and strong communication skillsAbility to manage multiple entries in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Duty Drawback or Temporary Importation Bond (TIB) entriesAdditional bonded warehouse operations experienceCustoms Broker License (or actively pursuing licensure) If you are a detail-oriented customs professional looking to grow with a stable brokerage team, we encourage you to apply today.
