Retail Sales Associate

Job Summary

Tally Floors by JS is a locally owned and family-operated flooring and remodeling showroom looking for a motivated, energetic, and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our growing team.

As a Sales Associate, you will help homeowners, contractors, builders, and interior designers select the right flooring, tile, cabinets, and remodeling products for their projects. You will build relationships with customers, generate new business opportunities, and provide outstanding customer service from the initial consultation through the completion of the sale.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service.
• Sell luxury vinyl plank (LVP), engineered hardwood flooring, tile, kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, countertops, and related products.
• Prepare estimates and quotes.
• Follow up with leads and previous customers.
• Build relationships with contractors, builders, real estate professionals, and interior designers.
• Generate new business through networking and outside sales.
• Maintain product knowledge and stay current on industry trends.
• Assist with showroom organization and merchandising.
• Coordinate with installers and office staff to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience (flooring, construction, home improvement, or remodeling preferred).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
