Responsibilities of an Infection Control Nurse :

Lead the infection control program, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

Monitor, track, and report infections, providing guidance to staff on infection prevention strategies.

Conduct regular infection control audits and assessments.

Develop and implement infection control policies, procedures, and education programs for staff.

Collaborate with medical staff to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care in infection prevention.

Now Hiring : Infection Control Nurse

Qualifications of an Infection Control Nurse :

Active RN license in the state of New Jersey.

Certification in Infection Control (CIC) is preferred, or a willingness to obtain.

Strong knowledge of infection control practices and regulatory requirements.

Previous experience in long-term care or geriatrics (preferred but not required).

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
