As Lead Bartender, you will set the tone behind the bar—curating exceptional guest interactions, mentoring team members, and ensuring every detail reflects the sophistication and warmth of Tallulah.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and elevate the bar program, ensuring consistency, creativity, and excellence in every drink served
- Provide a welcoming, engaging, and personalized guest experience, anticipating preferences and making thoughtful recommendations
- Design and develop seasonal cocktail menus, incorporating both classic techniques and modern innovation
- Train, mentor, and support bar staff, maintaining high standards of service and professionalism
- Oversee inventory management, ordering, and bar organization to ensure seamless operations
- Ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws, food safety, and quality standards
- Execute precise drink preparation, presentation, and service with attention to detail
- Manage transactions accurately, including cash handling and register balancing
- Maintain a pristine and organized bar environment at all times
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bartender in an upscale or high-volume environment (leadership experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, and spirits, with a passion for innovation
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Polished, professional appearance with a warm, engaging presence
- Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced, detail-oriented setting
