Key Responsibilities
- Provide maintenance support across all nine facilities as needed
- Assist with routine maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC, and general building systems
- Conduct facility inspections to identify maintenance concerns and safety issues
- Support preventative maintenance programs and help maintain maintenance schedules
- Respond to maintenance requests and assist with urgent repair needs
- Help ensure facilities remain compliant with local, state, and federal health and safety requirements
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities
- Coordinate with facility administrators, maintenance staff, and vendors to address maintenance needs efficiently
- Assist with facility improvement projects, equipment installations, and vendor-supported repairs
- Travel regularly between facilities to provide on-site maintenance assistance and support
- 3-5 years of maintenance experience, preferably in healthcare, skilled nursing, multi-site facilities, or commercial maintenance environments
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, painting, HVAC systems, and general building maintenance
- HVAC certification (required)
- Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks across multiple locations
- English proficiency (required)
- Electrical Certification (preferred)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required)
- Experience working in skilled nursing facilities, healthcare environments, or senior living communities
- Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs and compliance-related inspections
- Experience coordinating with contractors and service vendors
- Frequent travel between facilities throughout the Greater Los Angeles area
- Combination of indoor and outdoor work environments
- Occasional after-hours or emergency response may be required
- Active role requiring walking, lifting, climbing ladders, and performing hands-on maintenance tasks
