Primary purpose

The Analyst Procurement COE (Center of Excellence) main purpose of the role is to be a catalyst for optimizing Tallgrass's Transformation Initiative across the company. This position is responsible for translating strategic objectives into actionable plans to achieve business goals, deliver cost savings, mitigate risk and create a competitive advantage.

We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Productivity Transformation and COE Analyst to support enterprise-wide initiatives focused on improving efficiency, streamlining processes, and driving operational excellence. This role will be instrumental in analyzing productivity data, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting the Center of Excellence (COE) in developing best practices, tools, and frameworks that enable consistent execution across business units.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Analyze operational and financial data to identify productivity gaps and efficiency opportunities.
  • Support transformation programs through data modeling, process mapping, and performance benchmarking.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement productivity improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Document and share COE methodologies, templates, and playbooks to support standardization and scalability.
  • Assist in change management and stakeholder communications for transformation initiatives.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools or technologies to support productivity and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Monitor project milestones and report on the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions on productivity best practices and process excellence.
  • Collaborate with a variety of people with tact, courtesy, and professionalism.
  • Maintain regular, dependable attendance and a high level of performance.
  • Maintain a high regard for personal safety, the safety of company assets and employees, and the general public.
  • Other daily, weekly, monthly, or special projects may be assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree from an Accredited Institution in Industrial Engineer or Finance

Experience / Specific Knowledge

  • 2-5 years of experience in operations, business transformation, consulting, or COE-related roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications that may include but are not limited to Excel, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Certifications, Licenses & Registrations

  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers (for travel).

Working Conditions

  • Will work non-traditional hours as needed.
  • May be required to carry a cell phone and be available to respond during working and non-working hours.
  • Candidates will be required to clear a drug screen and complete a background check, including a credit report for certain positions after an offer has been extended and prior to being employed.

Compensation

  • The annual salary range for this position will be $84,000-$97,200/yr.
