What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant for Pediatrics Office PART TIME position at Tallahassee Primary Care Associates?
Tallahassee Primary Care Associates is looking for a part-time Medical Assistant to work in one of our Pediatric offices. Offices are open Monday through Friday and schedules may vary. The position is part-time but will work within the core hours of 8a-5pm.
The candidate must possess a current RMA/CMA/CCMA certification and maintain it throughout the course of employment.
Responsibilities include: taking vitals, assisting the doctor with procedures, administering injections, entering patient information into an EMR, answering patient messages, reporting labs and other duties.
1-2 years of previous experience in a medical practice; pediatrics or specialist environment is preferred. EMR experience is also helpful.
All applicants must pass a criminal background check to include drug test and references.
