What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Worker/Millright position at Talladega Foundry & Machine Co?
- Perform the mechanical/electrical maintenance required to keep machines, equipment and facility in good/safe operating condition
- Responsible for troubleshooting and repair, as well as some production set-up and assistance
- Reads mechanical blue prints well
- May perform welding and repair procedures for all foundry equipment
- May replace or weld sections of foundry flasks
- Will perform many various foundry repair procedures from building maintenance to heavy machinery
- May operate machining equipment to build spare parts
- May bum heavy section risers from large castings
- May install or repair various types of conveyor, belting, or transporting equipment
- Will maintain all foundry equipment to facilitate good foundry practices
- Perform any and all other job-related tasks as assigned
- one (1) to two (2) years related experience and/or training; PLC experience/training is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
