What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Mechanic/Lot Personnel position at Tall Automotive?
We are looking to add a motivated and valuable employee to our growing team.
Our business has recently expanded beyond auto and truck repair into new equipment sales, including tractors & zero-turn mowers. This is an exciting new division of our company with significant growth potential.
We are seeking an Equipment Lot & Service Technician who wants to grow with us as we build this side of the business from the ground up. This position offers an excellent opportunity to get involved early and grow alongside the company.
Responsibilities:
- Performing pre-delivery inspections on new equipment
- Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the equipment lot
- Demonstrating equipment features and operation to customers
- Delivering equipment to customers' homes and job sites
- Performing maintenance and service work both in the shop and at customer locations
- Assisting customers with equipment operation and basic service questions
- Representing the company professionally and providing excellent customer service
- Cleaning and moving equipment for snow removal
- Servicing used equipment for resale
What We're Looking For:
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Self-motivated and dependable
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred
Compensation:
Compensation can be structured as either a salary-based position or a commission-based position, depending on the candidate and business needs.
For candidates interested in commission, earnings will be directly tied to equipment sales and the growth of the business, with unlimited earning potential. As the business expands, compensation opportunities can increase significantly.
A company service van and trailer will be provided to the right candidate.
