TalkPath Live partners with schools to provide teletherapy services to students, during school hours, and is currently hiring licensed and experienced occupational therapists on a contractual (1099 position) basis for the 2026-2027 school year. You may tell us the days of the week and the hours within the school day when you would like to work. It can be more challenging for OTs to get full-time equivalent caseloads in virtual, school-based settings. This may be an ideal opportunity for those seeking part-time equivalent hours. We will reach out to qualified candidates to schedule a Zoom interview around mid-to-late May. Please check the active listings on the Job Board if you seek immediate hours. We do not have COTA, or COTA supervision openings at this time. If we do not have needs in the states(s) in which you are licensed, we welcome the opportunity to discuss cross-licensing in another state or time-zone, for fee reimbursement, over the summer to be ready for the upcoming school year! Basic Qualifications: -Therapists should be independent, creative, flexible, and comfortable working on their own computers from home -Excellent communication skills via email and phone -Full licensure in your state of residence, allowing independent clinical practice -Full licensure in state(s) where TPL is hiring, or willingness to become licensed -Department of Education credential (in states that require it, or willingness to obtain) -Functional understanding of electronic devices -A reliable Internet connection and a private space or office, free from distractions, in which to practice Preferred, but not required: -Experience with school-based practice -Experience providing remote, virtual services Support and Reasons to work with us: -A paid orientation is provided -Flexible scheduling and respect for your availability (during school hours) -Responsive leadership team of SLPs who answers your questions quickly -Templates for the logistics of practice to reduce administrative time -Comprehensive assessment library -Opportunities for growth and leadership -Support to cross-credential or license with reimbursement in mutually agreeable states -Support and resources if you are transitioning from a medical or home health setting to school-based telepractice If you would like to know more about TalkPath.
