What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist position at Talking Time Therapy Corp.?
Talking Time Therapy Corp is a speech-language therapy facility that specializes in providing speech therapy services to the pediatric population. We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and hard-working bilingual Speech Language Pathology Assistant.
This position requires services to be rendered at schools/daycares and home settings. Travel is a must.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
- CPR Certificate
- Licensure or certification by the state of Florida as an SLPA
- Level II fingerprinting background (covered by facility)
- Securing liability insurance
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Effectively treat speech and language disorders using clinical judgment
- Planning treatment, implementing and monitoring patient’s progress
- Responsible for following documented treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP
- Documenting client performance and reporting this information to the supervising SLP
- Completing all required CEU’s as stated by ASHA
