We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Remote IT Technician to provide remote technical support and ensure the smooth operation of IT systems, hardware, software, and network services. The Remote IT Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, assisting end users with IT-related inquiries, maintaining system performance, and supporting organizational technology infrastructure. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality technical support.
Key Responsibilities- Provide remote technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, update, and maintain software applications and system components.
- Manage user accounts, passwords, permissions, and access rights.
- Support email systems, cloud-based services, VPN connectivity, and remote access solutions.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify technical issues.
- Document support tickets, troubleshooting activities, and resolutions accurately.
- Perform routine maintenance, software updates, backups, and security checks.
- Assist with cybersecurity practices, endpoint protection, and system security compliance.
- Escalate complex technical issues when necessary and coordinate with vendors or internal teams.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and user guides.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and common business software applications.

- Industry certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , Security , Microsoft, Cisco, AWS, Azure, or equivalent certifications are considered an advantage.
