Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, restorations, extractions, prosthodontics, and dental implants.
- Assess patient needs through thorough examinations, medical and dental histories, and diagnostic imaging using tools such as digital X-rays , CBCT, digital scanning and 3D printing.
- Develop personalized treatment plans that address individual patient concerns while explaining procedures clearly using appropriate dental terminology.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure proper documentation of all treatments performed.
- Practice infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to uphold the highest standards of patient safety and hygiene.
- Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
- Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care strategies, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term dental wellness.
Requirements
- Valid state license to practice dentistry with eligibility for licensure as an Associate General Dentist.
- Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental fabrication, dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
- Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Oryx
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and medical documentation standards.
- Experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic environment with a focus on pediatric dentistry or pediatric patients is preferred.
- Ability to perform oral surgery procedures and manage complex cases involving endodontics or prosthodontics confidently.
- Excellent communication skills to explain treatment options clearly and compassionately to patients of diverse backgrounds.
