- Manage classroom activities to ensure a positive learning environment that supports behavior management and child welfare
- Collaborate with colleagues to design inclusive programs that address special education needs and support early childhood development
- Monitor student progress through assessments and standardized testing; adjust instruction accordingly to meet individual learning goals
- Foster effective communication with families regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones
- Supervise classroom assistants and volunteers, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and high-quality childcare standards
- Proven experience working with children in school-age or preschool settings; prior classroom management experience preferred
- Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education or tutoring in core subjects such as math and literacy
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and special education strategies including early intervention
- Familiarity with Montessori methods and preschool experience is a plus
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, staff, and community partners
- Ability to lead a classroom effectively while maintaining a safe, inclusive environment that promotes child welfare
- Certification or coursework in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable
