A fast-growing company in the clean energy and infrastructure sector is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to join its legal team. This role reports directly to the General Counsel and will support the business across a range of commercial, financing, and corporate matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate and draft a broad range of commercial, corporate, and financing agreements, including vendor, customer, partnership, and M&A transactions.
- Provide day-to-day legal support to business leaders and functional teams.
- Support corporate governance, board matters, and compliance initiatives.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training to mitigate risk.
- Manage outside counsel on specialized or complex matters.
- Monitor and advise on regulatory developments affecting the industry.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership.
- 5-6 years of legal experience (Either at a law firm or In House).
- Strong background in commercial contracting, corporate transactions, and financing.
- Experience in the energy, infrastructure, or project development sectors is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, drafting, and negotiation skills.
- Business-oriented mindset with ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
