Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Database Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining critical databases, ensuring their performance, security, and availability meet organizational needs. Your expertise will support our mission to deliver robust data solutions that empower our clients’ operations and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

· Plan data flows for a new or revised database

· Map out the conceptual design for a planned database in outline

· Consider both back-end organization of data and front-end accessibility for end-users

· Test new systems

· Maintain data standards

· Control access permissions and privileges

· Ensure that storage, archiving, backup and recovery procedures are functioning correctly

· Communicate regularly with technical, applications, and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security

Requirements

· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience

· Minimum 5 -7 years relative experience

· Experience managing Oracle and Maria DB platforms

· Experience with monitoring and tuning RDBMS platforms to provide a high availability service.

· Experience with SQL scripting and ETL implementations.

· Proven hands on experience is required

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
