Immediate opening for a Certified Payroll Specialist in Lake Elsinore, CA who possesses:
- 3-5 years of experience in construction compliance, certified payroll administration, and subcontractor onboarding
- Proficient in LCPtracker or similar labor compliance software
- Strong knowledge of California prevailing wage processes and public works/prevailing wage requirements (DIR, DAS140, Davis Bacon, etc.)

FULL DESCRIPTION:
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
Certified Payroll Administration
- Set up subcontractors in LCPtracker for certified payroll tracking
- Monitor and track weekly certified payroll submissions from subcontractors
- Send weekly reminder emails to subcontractors regarding certified payroll deadlines
- Review and verify certified payroll reports for accuracy, correct classifications, and compliance with prevailing wage laws
- Coordinate with the superintendent to collect weekly sign-out sheets and save them on server and print/file in CPR Specialist folder
Front Office Administration & Subcontractor Onboarding/Compliance
- Verify all subcontractor documentation prior to site authorization, including:
- Signed subcontract agreements
- Current contractor’s license
- Active DIR registration
- DAS 140 submissions (if applicable)
- Insurance certificates that meet company/project standards
- Set up subcontractors in LCP Tracker
- Serve as point of contact for subcontractor compliance inquiries
- Maintain and organize subcontractor compliance records on the company server
The selected candidate will also possess:
- 3-5 years of experience in construction compliance, certified payroll administration and subcontractor onboarding
- Proficient in LCPtracker or similar labor compliance software
- Strong knowledge of: California prevailing wage processes and public works/prevailing wage requirements (DIR, DAS140, Davis Bacon, etc.)
- Subcontractor insurance and documentation requirements
- DIR registration, DAS140, and subcontractor onboarding requirements
- LCP Tracker or similar compliance tracking software
- Strong communication and follow-up skills with subcontractors
- Excellent organizational and documentation management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Well-grounded understanding of prevailing wage laws and documentation standards
Salary Range: $30.00 to $34.00/hour
