- Compensation: approximately $180,000.00 (based on experience and location)

Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline (required)
- 5 years of experience in civil engineering for large capital projects (required)
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or actively pursuing licensure (required)
- Strong knowledge of site development, foundations, structural steel, reinforced concrete, and geotechnical interfaces (required)
- Knowledge of IBC, ASCE, and other relevant codes and standards (required)
- Experience managing design packages, specifications, and vendor deliverables (preferred)
- Excellent communication and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills (required)
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and optimization of complex civil and structural systems for advanced geothermal power plants.
- Perform first-principles analysis to develop high-performance, cost-effective plant designs.
- Oversee specifications, design standards, and analyses for civil and structural systems including foundations and site layouts.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, accelerate, and standardize designs while maintaining technical rigor.
- Partner with procurement and construction teams to ensure constructability, cost control, and technical quality.
- Collaborate across disciplines (mechanical, electrical, drilling, reservoir) to drive integrated plant solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of technical excellence and ownership.
