Our client, a highly respected independent wealth management firm in Newnan, GA overseeing over $500 million in client assets, is seeking an experienced, sharp, and highly motivated Client Service Associate. This individual will provide proactive, virtual and in-office support for the firm's financial advisors and play a critical role in delivering efficient, high-quality client service within a boutique office environment.
JOB SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, uses advanced skills gained through training and experience to provide proactive support to financial advisors and assist with efficient, quality client service. Follows established procedures to perform routine tasks and receives general guidance and direction to perform other work with substantial variety and complexity. Extensive contact with clients to resolve most questions and problems and collaborate on new or unusual issues with a higher level.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interacts daily on the phone and via email with prospective and existing clients.
- May service less active accounts.
- Researches client and security information through the back office system.
- Assist with data gathering and data entry into financial planning software
- Processes and follows up on client documentation for proper maintenance of accounts.
- Prepares letters, forms, and spreadsheets to assist with servicing existing clients and prospecting new clients.
- Creates and maintains records and files.
- Ensures required client paperwork is current with firm and industry requirements, rules, and regulations.
- Maintains databases and creates reports using portfolio software programs.
- Participates in and receives cross-training, as well as assists with other operational functions as required.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (finance, economics, business, or related field a plus)
- 1–3 years of experience minimum in client service, operations, or administration within:
- Registered Investment Advisor (RIA)
- Wealth management firm
- Brokerage or financial services firm
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with CRM, portfolio management, or Custodial platforms is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Professional demeanor and commitment to confidentiality
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
